![]() To illustrate the difference a configuration question might ask “Which commands do you use to set up EIGRP?” whereas a troubleshooting question may display a (partial) output and ask “Which of the following cannot be possible reasons why R1 and R2 are not neighbors? (select three)”. ![]() Back then it seemed, the CCNA consisted largely of configuration, not troubleshooting which has now become the mainstay of Cisco exams (since the 2007 640-802 release). Contrary to initial expectations I did not find it easy, despite what others may say based on their experience 15-20 years ago (and never renewed!). I took about 7 months, 4 for the first exam and 3 for the second. Finishing it was quite an accomplishment, for myself at least. At the start of this year, I resolved to take the CCNA exam.
